Brown University's Dining Services is seeking a Cook's Helper to assist cooks in daily cafeteria and catered events, following established recipes and food safety standards.

The role requires ability to read recipes, follow instructions, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. One year of food service experience or demonstrated capability across kitchen areas is preferred; training provided on campus.

Formación

• One-year experience as a Food Service Worker or demonstrated ability to assist in basic food preparation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist cooks in preparation and service of daily cafeteria and catered menus.
• Observe sanitation, safety and quality standards.
• Disassemble, clean and sanitize kitchen equipment; maintain a tidy work area.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions.
