Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Food Service/Prep Aide at 103 Belinda Parkway, Mount Juliet, TN 37122. Assist the cook with meal prep and presentation, manage the dishwashing area, and support the dining operation to ensure great resident experiences.

You will perform tasks from portioning salads to stocking shelves, while maintaining sanitation and reporting issues to your supervisor. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen operation and equipment.
• Ability to follow simple instructions and work under supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items as requested and portion/plate salads and desserts.
• Assist with cleaning of kitchen, floors, and equipment.
• Set up and run dishwashing area; clean pots and pans as needed.
• Check water temperatures and maintain sanitation equipment.
• Take out garbage and assist with dining room service when needed.
• Replace paper towels and clean hand sinks; stock food in shelves and fridge.
• Report problems in kitchen or dining room to supervisor.
• Attend required in-service and staff meetings.
• Provide superior customer service to residents and guests.
