The role emphasizes full operation oversight, cost controls, local sourcing, and sustainability, with opportunities to influence menu development and profitability within a contract foodservice setting.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control.
• Working knowledge of HACCP.
• Experience with inventory, purchasing and cost controls.
• Exposition cooking experience preferred.
• ServSafe certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full culinary management of the food service operation, including inventory, ordering and receiving.
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable.
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products.
• Possesses a passion for sustainability.
