Great Performances in The Bronx, NY seeks a Culinary Operations Manager to lead a small team and oversee catering software data management for large-scale events. You will quantify menus from past data, update allergen information, refine item names, and adjust quantities to minimize waste while preserving menu integrity.

The role is full-time, on-site with potential weekend hours during peak seasons; strong analytical and leadership skills are essential, as is experience with catering software

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or food service management.
• Familiarity with catering software or data systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent leadership and communication; experience managing small teams.
• Proficiency in data entry, analysis, and reporting.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with a large team of sales operations coordinators.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a 2-3 member team for menu quantification and data management.
• Oversee accurate catering menu quantification by analyzing data from past events.
• Maintain and update catering software database: allergens, item names, quantities.
• Collaborate with culinary and operations teams to meet event requirements.
• Generate reports and insights from catering software for decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across the platform.
• Troubleshoot software issues with IT support.
• Stay up to date with industry best practices for catering quantification.
