Job summary

Ohio Living in Ohio is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily kitchen operations, serve meals, and ensure high quality, sanitary culinary services for residents. You will help with meal delivery, portioning, and maintaining clean work areas per standards.

On-the-job training is provided; high school diploma preferred; reading, writing and communication in English required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• On-the-job training provided; food service experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to provide residents with meals and snacks that are appetizing and meet quality standards.
• Assists in serving meals, delivers food carts and trays, and works in serveries.
• Prepares and serves food according to portion control procedures; maintains clean, sanitary and safe work areas and equipment.
• Assists in executing special events and planning.
• Maintains records using computers and other documentation per regulations.
