Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Service Associate I or II to support daily dining for residents. You will perform culinary tasks, serve meals, and help maintain clean, safe kitchen and servery areas in compliance with standards.

The role requires reading, writing and speaking English, with on-the-job training provided. Weekend, evening, and holiday shifts may be required to ensure quality resident dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Food service experience a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day culinary functions to serve meals and snacks that are palatable and appetizing.
• Assists in serving meals and delivering food carts and trays to designated areas.
• Serves food in accordance with portion control procedures and maintains clean work areas.
• Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning tasks and ensures safe, sanitary conditions.
• Assists in planning and preparation of special events and distributes menus as needed.
• Maintains quality assurance, infection control, and universal precautions.
• Attends meetings and training; supports accurate record-keeping and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
