Job summary

American Senior Communities seeks a Culinary Manager at Hickory Creek at Columbus to lead dining services for residents, ensuring nutritious, appealing meals and high satisfaction. The role oversees menu planning, kitchen operations, and presentation, while driving safety and standards.

The Culinary Manager will develop the culinary team, maintain regulatory compliance, and collaborate with care staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences aligned with CARE values.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience as Culinary Manager.
• Certification in a Dietary Manager Course or associate’s degree in culinary/hospitality management.
• Must have current and valid ServSafe Manager’s Food Safety Certificate.
• Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of culinary operations within the assisted living community to promote resident satisfaction, well‑being, and quality of life.
• Oversee food preparation, menu execution, kitchen operations and presentation while ensuring nutritious, appealing meals.
• Lead, develop and inspire the culinary team while maintaining food safety, sanitation and regulatory compliance.
