Job summary

Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, GA, is seeking an Expeditor to ensure timely, accurate plate presentations for the Masters Tournament. You will support the culinary team by reading tickets, expediting items to the line and coordinating with Food Runners to maintain standards.

The role requires familiarity with food preparation, sanitation best practices, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced environment, including holidays and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Culinary certification and/or relevant culinary training.
• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation and expediting service techniques.
• Ability to work in heat, cold, rain or other adverse conditions.
• Requires lifting up to 30 pounds and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitors preparation of plate presentations, ensuring correct set‑up according to the ticket.
• Reads tickets and pulls all plates from the window for the Food Runners.
• Calls side items as well as any ticket specifications.
• Preps food items that can be prepared directly on the line.
• Maintains a well‑stocked line for the culinary team.
• Verifies that all standards of sanitation and cleanliness practices are maintained throughout the kitchen at all times.
• Meets and exceeds state and federal standards of sanitation.
• Greets and directs all members, players, caddies and patrons in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Attends mandatory orientation and training sessions.
• Required to work schedule as defined by department to include holidays, weekends and overtime as needed.
