Job summary

The San Diego Zoo is seeking a Cook to support our culinary team in Escondido, CA. Under general supervision, you will prepare and cook a variety of menu items for our retail food service outlets and assist in maintaining kitchen operations.

You will serve orders, follow recipes, and ensure food quality and presentation. The role may involve supervising assistants and cashier duties at stands, contributing to a smooth guest experience.

Qualifications

• Culinary school and/or experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Knowledge of equipment, basic food handling, preparation and cooking skills.
