A leading company in health care is seeking a Cook to prepare high-quality food in compliance with applicable standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a Food Handler Permit, and at least two years of experience in quantity food production. The role includes handling a variety of kitchen equipment, providing personalized service, and ensuring cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language including medical terminology related to the job.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 50 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha’s discretion.
EQUIPMENT USAGE: Standard and specialized equipment including but not limited to steam jacket, two-compartment electric steamer, Rational Ovens, conventional oven, fan, convection oven, grill, fryer, microwave, warmer, Buffalo food processor, slicer, food chopper, large and small mixers, blender, food processors, refrigerator, freezers, and garbage disposal, computer and food service software.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
EXPERIENCE: Two years of experience in quantity food production in health care facility or similar competency level preferred.
CREDENTIALS: Prep/Cook Level Food Handler Permit required for Tabitha campuses in Lancaster County.Must meet Tabitha's vaccination requirements.
