Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items using standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
• Uses established ticket collection procedures; responsible for records during service.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen after preparation and service, storing or discarding excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
• Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
• Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Commits to personal and team safety.
• Follows all company policies, including safety protocols like using gloves and proper lifting techniques.
