Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, following established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares high-quality food items based on standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures during service. Maintains records from the area worked during service periods.
4. Maintains cleanliness of the kitchen after preparation and service, storing or discarding excess food safely.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized. Ensures proper storage of food and supplies.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as needed.
8. Supports in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
11. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Follows safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
15. Commits to personal and team safety.
16. Adheres to all company policies, including the use of protective gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
