Hennepin Technical College in Eden Prairie is seeking a part-time Culinary - College Laboratory Assistant 2 to collaborate with faculty in Culinary Arts, tutor students, and support daily lab activities.

You will assist in maintaining the dining room during events and help manage lab materials, inventory and equipment, while promoting inclusive teaching and student engagement.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Knowledge of and experience working with multiple software programs, including Adobe Creative Suite Cloud features, Office, basic Web.

Responsibilities

• Assist faculty in Culinary Arts to tutor students in laboratory projects and assignments.
• Oversee daily activities of the program in collaboration with faculty.
• Maintain food product inventory, lab supplies, equipment and instructional materials.
• Support in dining room during events such as Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch service, 5 course lunches.

This position will also support assist in dining room when events are taking place such as Breakfast, Lunch and Brunch service, 5 course lunches. This will work with faculty to maintain food product inventory and lab supplies, equipment and instructional materials.
