Job summary

Dorothy Lane Market in Washington Township, OH is seeking a friendly, kitchen-savvy Culinary Center Assistant to support prep, assist instructors, and deliver an exceptional guest experience in our Culinary Center.

Shifts typically run from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM and require 1–2 events per week with a minimum of 3 events per month; duties include prep, cooking, event execution, service, and cleanup.

Qualifications

• Desire to make guests happy by delivering high-quality food and service.
• Willingness to learn about and sample great food.

Culinary Center Assistant

Part Time

The Dorothy Lane Market Culinary Center offers a wide range of classes and private events at our Washington Square and Mason store locations. We are seeking enthusiastic, kitchen-savvy Culinary Assistants to help prep, support instructors, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. Shifts typically run from 3:30 PM to 9:30 PM and include prep, event execution, and cleanup. The ideal candidate works 1-2 events per week, and all team members must commit to a minimum of 3 events per month.

What You’ll Do

• Prep, shop for, and organize class/event materials.
• Cook, bake, and assist with culinary tasks.
• Provide outstanding hospitality and customer service.
• Assist with post-event cleanup.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
