Tallahassee State College (TSC) invites applications for a full-time, grant-funded Culinary Career/Technical Educator Instructor position at the Quincy Annex Correctional Institute in Quincy, Florida. The role is part of Workforce Development/DOC – Vocational Training.

The instructor teaches career/technical education, supports student career pathways, and ensures safety and accurate record-keeping. A state background check, TB screening, and SafeServ certification are required or pursued.

Formación

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of vocational experience or an AS or higher degree with 2 years of relevant occupational experience.
• Experience in commercial and hospitality food preparation; teaching adults and non-traditional learners.
• Current or able-to-obtain SafeServ Food Safety Manager certification; additional food-prep certifications are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Teach assigned career/technical education program in a policy-compliant environment.
• Assist students with academic and career pathways plans; maintain safe instructional environment and equipment.
• Guide students and staff, maintain student files and reports for Florida Department of Corrections.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records; review student test scores and attendance; use databases.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development; perform duties as assigned.
