Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living is seeking a Cook/Server to prepare and cook meals, assist with serving residents, and maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining area. The role requires following menus, time-temperatures, and documenting cooking details while providing courteous service.

The position reports to the Culinary Manager, emphasizes teamwork, confidentiality, and professional conduct with tenants, staff, and visitors. Flexible hours and a supportive environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Must possess good listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must read and understand instructions, procedures and memos.
• Must work as a team member with other personnel and management.
• Must demonstrate confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
• Must be mature and remain calm with tenants, employees, family members and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables and desserts according to menus.
• Assist in serving meals to residents in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness and safety.
• Document proper cooking times and temperatures.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies.
• Provide three meals per day to tenants.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
