Job summary

Keystone Bluffs Assisted Living is seeking a part-time Cook/Server in Duluth, MN. Under the Culinary Manager, you will prepare soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts and assist in serving meals to residents in a courteous manner.

You may work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must read and follow menus, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and help ensure safe food temperatures while providing respectful resident service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma.
• Must be able to read and comprehend instructions, procedures and memos.
• Must possess good listening, verbal and written communication skills.
• Serv Safe Certificate within 60 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook soups, meats, vegetables and desserts.
• Prepare meals and assist in serving meals to residents.
• Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and ensure proper stocking.
• Follow menus and adhere to proper cooking times and temperatures.
• Clean and sanitize all food preparation equipment and work areas.
• Work cooperatively with staff to provide quality dining service.
