Eventide The Linden Senior Living Apartments in Moorhead, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server SL to work as needed, PRN. This position includes weekends and holidays as required to support the Nutrition and Culinary Services team.

In this role you will provide meal service to residents, maintaining sanitary conditions and coordinating with staff to ensure timely, respectful service and quality meals.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service preferred.

Responsibilities

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director/Coordinator.
• Monitors daily menu items to verify items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet serving times.
• Operates dish machine and pre-soaks/sorts dishes.

Description

Eventide The Linden Senior Living Apartments in south Moorhead, MN is seeking a Culinary Assistant / Server SL to work as needed, PRN. Includes weekends & holidays as needed.

The Culinary Assistant / Server SL will provide meal service to residents/tenants under sanitary conditions and in a respectful, timely manner by communicating, coordinating, and cooperating with others to carry out the operations of the Nutrition and Culinary Services department.

Essential Functions

• Offers and serves menu choices to residents in a cheerful and respectful manner.
• Thoroughly cleans and sanitizes all dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and containers used to provide meals as well as other assigned cleaning duties.
• Operates equipment in a proper, safe, sanitary, and respectful manner.
• Prepares various menu items as assigned by the Nutrition and Culinary Director (Coordinator) and/or Culinary Cook.
• Monitors daily menu items in order to verify that all necessary items are prepared and labeled.
• Stores leftovers appropriately according to food handling standards.
• Organizes and plans work schedule to meet times for serving.
• Operates dish machine according to directions. Pre-soaks and sorts dishes and utensils.
• Assists in accepting vendor deliveries and storing items in the proper areas.

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in food service is preferred, but not required.

Compensation

At Eventide, we value our employees and offer a competitive starting pay range of $16-17.92 for Culinary Assistants SL per hour based on qualifications, experience, and location. Shift premiums and differentials are also available, for select positions, paid on employment status and shift worked.
