Job summary

Arbor Oaks, a Lifespark Senior Living Community in Andover, MN, is seeking a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our caring team. You will assist in the preparation, distribution and supply of meals to residents, families and staff, while promoting resident well-being.

Shifts available: Part Time AM (7a-2p) and Part Time PM (4p-7p) with every other weekend rotation. Wage ranges from $15.50 to $20.50 per hour, and we offer paid time off, and a friendly, supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• Ability to relate professionally with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families and staff.
• Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour beverages.
• Transport carts to appropriate areas and deliver trays, when applicable.
• Deliver nourishments and snacks; maintain a steady work pace; clean dishes.

We help seniors Age Magnificently in our gorgeous 70-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living, Independent Living, and Memory Care services. In this position,you willbe responsiblefor assistingin the preparation, distribution and supply of food and dishes to residents, families, and staff while creating an environment that promotes resident/resident well-being. Duties include:

Set up room trays and tables in dining room, serve and bus trays, pour and cover beverages, andassistin preparing and covering food.

Transport carts toappropriate areasand deliver trays, when applicable.

Deliver nourishments and snacks appropriately.

Maintain a steady work pace to produce an adequate supply of clean kitchen utensils and dishes.

Soak, scrub, scrapeand washsoiled dishes.

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent ispreferred.

Experience in a senior living setting is preferred.

Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident’sfamilies,and employees.
