Job summary

Three Pillars Senior Living Communities in Dousman, WI, is hiring for Full Time/Part Time Day Shift (6:30 am–3:00 pm) with every-other-weekend availability. You will prepare breakfast items, salads, and desserts, creating a welcoming dining experience for residents and their families.

The role entails maintaining kitchen hygiene, assisting in training new staff, and contributing to quality improvement efforts. Preferred CBRF certification with training provided on hire.

Qualifications

• CBRF certification preferred; training and certification can be provided upon hire.
• Experience cooking/breakfast items to order preferred.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and push frequently; lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read, write, and communicate effectively in English; follow written instructions; work cooperatively with minimal supervision.
• Compassion, patience, and professionalism when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals—cook breakfast to order and prepare salads, desserts, and beverages meeting residents' needs.
• Create a welcoming dining experience—set tables, take orders, serve meals, and ensure residents feel valued.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment—wash dishes, clean dining and kitchen areas, manage waste, follow safety standards.
• Support kitchen operations—monitor temperatures, maintain supplies, report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Be a valued team member—assist in training new staff, contribute to quality improvements, provide resident-centered service.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals-cook breakfast to order and prepare salads, desserts, and beverages that meet residents' preferences and dietary needs.
• Create a welcoming dining experience-set up tables, take orders, serve meals, and ensure residents feel valued and cared for during each meal.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment-wash dishes, clean dining and kitchen areas, manage garbage removal, and follow all safety and sanitation standards.
• Support kitchen operations-monitor food and equipment temperatures, maintain supplies, and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Be a valued team member-assist in training new staff, contribute to quality improvement efforts, and provide friendly, resident-centered service every day.

Culinary Assistant/Server Qualifications
