Job summary

Deephaven Woods Senior Living in Deephaven, MN is seeking a casual dining aide to serve meals in the dining room and provide to-go meal service to residents, ensuring a clean and inviting dining area.

You'll follow meal schedules, accommodate dietary needs, and handle safe food handling. You will learn the EMenu System and support resident relations, addressing requests and concerns with care.

Ebenezer manages the community and offers a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience.
• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year experience preferred.

Job Overview

Deephaven Woods Senior Living is located in the heart of Deephaven, MN just two blocks west of Highway 101 and near Highways 7, 12 and 494within minutes of Wayzata and Minnetonka. We offer Independent/Assisted Living, Memory Care and Enhanced Assisted Living for a total of 78 units. This is a casual role!

This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
