Job summary

The Fountains at Hosanna in Lakeville, MN, part of Ebenezer, is seeking a dining room server to provide meal service to residents and to-go orders in a warm community setting.

Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining a clean dining area, and meeting residents' dietary needs while following safety and sanitation standards. Prior dining experience is not required but preferred; a High School Diploma and 1 year of experience are desirable.

The Fountains offers seniors 92 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments. The Fountains and their exceptional staff are known for creating a warm, friendly, fun community.

Week 1: Wed 4pm-7pm

Week 2: Sat 4pm-7pm

This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
