This position offers the opportunity to make a direct impact by preparing students for successful careers in the early childhood care and education profession through hands‑on, real‑world training in a supportive learning environment. Under general supervision, the instructor will prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for credited technical/occupational courses. The instructor will prepare standardized course syllabi using a provided template and assess students’ satisfactory progress based on established course grading requirements. This instructor will teach courses for program while maintaining knowledge of current trends and developments in the field. This instructor will teach early childhood care and education courses in a classroom and lab environment that closely simulates the industry and follows curriculum standards. The instructor will provide instruction in the theory and practical applications of Early Childhood Care and Education.
This job operates in a professional classroom/lab/clinical environment. This role routinely uses standard office/classroom/lab equipment and technologies.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move classroom/lab equipment and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
This is a full‑time instructional position. The work load is Monday‑Friday with possible evenings or weekends based on needs.
Travel to other campuses and outside of the service delivery area is a possibility for meetings, trainings, and professional development.
Minimum qualifications for this position will be determined by the teaching discipline and compliance with appropriate accrediting bodies. Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
