Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Cook to join our team, bringing recipes to life with fresh ingredients and creativity. You will set up stations, measure ingredients, and use ovens, stoves, and mixers to prepare a variety of foods while maintaining safety standards.

You'll work in a dynamic environment, contribute to a positive guest experience, and follow production guidelines and sanitation policies. Experience as a cook and a willingness to obtain health/safety certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a cook or in a related role.
• Knowledge of cooking methods and food safety regulations.
• Able to obtain food safety certification.
• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes.
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers.
• Bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses various cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods.
• Arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines.
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures.
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils.
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests and coworkers.
