Job summary

Alderwood Park Health & Rehabilitation of Cascadia in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Culinary Aide to support our dietary team in preparing and serving meals for residents, staff, and events. You will follow safe food handling practices and help ensure meals are appetizing and served at the correct temperatures.

You will use standardized recipes, maintain clean work areas, assist with inventory and receiving, and collaborate with colleagues to deliver quality dining experiences while respecting

Responsibilities

• Prepares and/or pre-portions food for regular and therapeutic diets according to the planned menu for meals, staff, and events.
• Prepares and/or portions food using proper food handling techniques and safety procedures.
• Ensures that food is served in an attractive, appetizing manner and at the correct temperatures.
• Uses standardized recipes to prepare menu items and adheres to schedules.
