Job summary

American Senior Communities is hiring a part-time Culinary Aide at Seymour Crossing. You will assist with meal prep and service, help maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen, and contribute to safe, nutritious meals for residents.

Partner with culinary leaders, follow menu and diet guidelines, set up service trays, and support the dining team. Prior server experience and sanitation certification are preferred; commitment to customer service is required.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service.
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling (can be earned after hire).
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a sanitary workplace.
