Job summary

The Pines of DeKalb in Butler, IN is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide to help prepare and serve nutritious meals for residents. You will work day or evening shifts and contribute to a safe, sanitary kitchen.

Join ASC Team to support dining operations, set up trays, assist with meal prep, maintain cleanliness, and collaborate with culinary leadership to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred; may be earned after hire.
• Must commit to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items according to menus and resident dietary requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
