The Pines of DeKalb is seeking a Culinary Aide to support meal preparation and service for residents. You will join a dedicated culinary team, ensuring meals meet menu specifications and dietary needs while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in meal prep and portions according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
