PureHealth in a post-acute care setting is hiring a Culinary Aide to assist with meal preparation, service, and safe, sanitary kitchen operations. You will support dietary staff and help deliver nutritious meals to residents in a timely manner.

The role emphasizes adherence to dietary instructions, effective communication with residents, and collaboration with the kitchen team to ensure quality dining experiences while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year in a culinary role.
• Ability to follow dietary instructions and sanitation guidelines.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meal Preparation Support: assist in preparing salads, vegetables, desserts and other menu items.
• Meal Service: serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner; ensure proper temperature and presentation.
• Food Safety & Sanitation: follow all food safety regulations and keep kitchen/dining areas clean.
• Resident Interaction: communicate with residents about meal preferences and dietary needs.
• Team Collaboration: work with kitchen and dietary staff to ensure smooth workflow; assist with inventory and stock rotation.
