Job summary

Hover Community Inc in Longmont, CO is seeking a part-time cook/dishwasher to support the kitchen in Assisted Living. Responsibilities include preparing meals, cleaning, and assisting in various kitchen tasks as needed.

You will work with the culinary team to provide tasty, nutritious meals while upholding high hygiene standards. Must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Ability to handle emergency situations.
• Ability to come to mandatory trainings/meetings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals meeting nutritional requirements and appearance.
• Work with the culinary team to provide the best customer dining experience.
• Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout each shift.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently: steamer, oven, grill, dishwasher, etc.
• Assist in preparation of special meals and for special events.
• Read and comprehend instructions, documents and memos; communicate in an interdisciplinary team.
