Job summary

American Senior Communities’ Westview Nursing & Rehab Center in Bedford, IN seeks a Culinary Aide to help prepare and serve nutritious meals, keep areas clean, and support residents’ dining needs. Join a team dedicated to compassion and quality care.

You will partner with culinary leaders, assist with meal prep and portioning, set up service trays, and maintain sanitary workspaces. Certification in sanitation is preferred; strong customer service is required; teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling.
• Required: Commitment to customer service.
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portions of meals according to menu and resident diet.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workspace; clean equipment as needed.
