Job summary

VI is hiring a Culinary Aide to support food and beverage operations in a senior living environment. The successful candidate will assist with meal preparation, plating, table setup, and delivery of carts, while maintaining clean work and service areas.

Strong customer service, POS familiarity, and a willingness to obtain Food Handlers certification are preferred. A high school diploma or GED is favored, along with a valid driver's license where applicable.

Qualifications

• Courteous and professional demeanor with staff, residents and guests.
• Experience with food handling in senior living and/or customer service preferred.
• Ability to use a Point of Sale (POS) system.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess or be willing to obtain Food Handlers certification as required.
• Valid and current driver's license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation and plating of meals.
• Set dining room tables and deliver food and beverage carts.
• Perform daily cleaning of work and service areas.
• Carry out heavy weekly cleaning and stock room duties.
