Job summary

Golden Heart Companion Care is seeking compassionate Home Care Companions to provide non-medical companionship and support to clients in their homes. The Home Care Companion helps clients maintain independence, comfort, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities include friendly companionship, light housekeeping, meals, medication reminders, errands, appointments, social activities, and reporting changes to the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, dependable and trustworthy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a care team.
• Previous caregiving or home/senior-care experience preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet hiring requirements.
• Reliable transportation may be required depending on assignment.
