Job summary

Maryann Patacsils Care Homes is seeking compassionate caregivers to support residents with activities of daily living in a California facility. Responsibilities include personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, feeding, meal prep, and documentation, with a focus on resident safety and comfort.

Shifts available include full-time, part-time, day hours (6am-2:30pm or 2:30pm-10pm) and awake night shift (10pm-6am). Training is provided for those new to caregiving.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• High school diploma is required.
• Background check is required prior to hire.
• CPR & First Aid certification is required.
• Physician’s report and TB test/chest x-ray within 10 days after hire.
• $79 fingerprint for Community Care Licensing.
• Must be fully vaccinated with booster and provide proof.
• Experience is preferred, but training is available.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily living tasks for residents, including personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, continence management, dressing, feeding, and meal preparation.
• Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure safe, hygienic environments.
• Complete documentation of care provided and monitor resident well-being.
• Assist with behavior management and adhere to facility regulations and rules.
