Job summary

Sanctuary Senior Care by Majestic Residences in Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced CNA to join a small residential assisted living home. You will provide daily living assistance, help with meals, and ensure a safe, orderly, and homelike environment.

We value empathy, patience, and reliability; preferred Louisiana CNA certification; CPR/First Aid; willingness to pass a background check. Pay is $16/hour.

Qualifications

• Must be a Louisiana-certified CNA.
• Experience with daily care including bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and personal hygiene.
• Patient, kind, and steady with residents.
• Willing to complete a background check.
• CPR / First Aid certification current or obtained before or right after hire.

About our home

We are a small residential assisted living home in Sherwood Forest This is not a large facility. Residents live in a house.

Care here is personal. You will know every resident by name, notice small changes, and be part of a calm daily rhythm: morning routines, shared meals, companionship, and help with the tasks that keep dignity intact. We want the home to feel like a home — clean, steady, respectful, and kind.

The role

We need an experienced, empathetic CNA who is comfortable in a small-home setting and takes pride in everyday care. You will support residents with daily living, keep the environment safe and orderly, and help with light meal preparation. Patience and steadiness matter as much as skills.

What we want from caregivers

• A certified CNA in Louisiana
• Experience with daily care: bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, meals, and personal hygiene
• Patient, kind, and steady with residents — no rushing, no short temper
• Willing to complete a background check
• CPR / First Aid certification (current, or obtained before or right after hire)
