Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced Scaffold/Line Lift Technicians to support Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) operations at the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska's North Slope. The Technician provides field leadership, coordinates daily activities, mentors Insulation Technicians, and ensures safe, efficient work execution in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities include performing line lifts, asbestos abatement, and coordinating with operators and inspectors while maintaining OQ

Qualifications

• NSTC training is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and driving requirements.
• Minimum 2 years of CUI experience in oil and gas.
• North Slope experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years using hand and power tools.
• Minimum 2 years in a physically demanding position.
• Asbestos Abatement Certification through Alaska.
• AHERA Building Inspector certification.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Ability to wear respirator.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership and coordinate daily tasks for safe, efficient work.
• Mentor Insulation Technicians in CUI, scaffolding, insulation and line lift ops.
• Lead safety, productivity, and quality on site.
• Perform asbestos abatement per regulations.
• Coordinate with ConocoPhillips operators, Inspectors, and other contractors.
• Review project plans and ensure tools and resources are ready.
• Direct daily work scopes with safety emphasis.
• Build scaffolding and perform line lifts with approved equipment.
