Job summary

Idaho National Laboratory's Information Security Department is seeking a CUI Program Lead to implement and administer CUI requirements under DOE Order 470.7, EO 13556, 32 CFR Part 2002, and the CUI Registry. The role is based at our Idaho Falls facility with a 9x80 schedule and every other Friday off.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree with 5 years (or a master’s with 3 years) of relevant experience, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Level 4: Bachelor's degree with 9 years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Relevant technical experience in nuclear nonproliferation, arms control, DOE programs, or related fields.
• Experience marking, controlling, storing, and destroying sensitive information is preferred.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and obtain/maintain a DOE “Q” clearance.
• Must obtain Classification Analyst certification within one year of DOE “Q” clearance.

Responsibilities

• Administer and implement CUI regulations per DOE Order 470.7 and related policies.
• Direct CUI program communications, schedules, budgets, and activities.
• Collaborate with legal, contracts, and procurement to flow down CUI requirements to subcontractors.
• Develop, implement, and maintain CUI policies, processes, and training.
