Job summary

Footbridge Federal is seeking engineers to develop real-time DSP software for radar data feeds on GPU-accelerated platforms. You will optimize CUDA-based libraries and ensure scalable performance across multi-node HPC environments.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, 5+ years of C/C++ and CUDA experience, and a strong background in DSP. A science/engineering degree or equivalent experience is expected, with on-site work in a defense-focused setting.

• Develop real-time digital signal processing (DSP) software for radar data feeds.
• Optimize GPU resource utilization, scalability, and performance using libraries like cuFFT, cuBLAS, and NVIDIA MatX.
• Analyze system requirements to resolve complex processing and performance bottlenecks.
• Conduct comprehensive software testing, debugging, and performance analysis throughout the development lifecycle.
• Document software designs, technical approaches, and test results in alignment with engineering standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret security clearance.
• Strong background in C/C++ development (typically 5+ years of experience).
• Hands-on experience with CUDA development, including cuFFT and cuBLAS libraries.
• Experience with digital signal processing (DSP) or signal data processing.
• Proven track record of optimizing software for high-performance computing (HPC) environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with radar systems and real-time radar signal processing.
• Familiarity with translating MATLAB algorithms into C/CUDA.
• Experience with multi-node GPGPU architectures and the NVIDIA MatX library.
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker or Podman.
• Background in RF or real-time embedded processing systems.
