Job summary

RELI Group in Springfield, VA, is seeking a CUAS Technical SME for a full-time role. The position supports TSA Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations, deploying and maintaining CUAS equipment for national security missions.

The role requires hands-on setup, operation, troubleshooting, and integration of CUAS systems with multiple vendors. Travel up to 30% and ability to lift up to 70 pounds are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant CUAS technical or operational experience.
• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate.
• U.S. citizenship and a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, if required.
• Ability to travel up to 30% from the National Capital Region to deployment locations nationwide.
• Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 70 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as applicable.
• Ability to work outdoors, stand for extended periods, and operate in varying weather and field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, configure, and operate fixed-site, mobile and portable CUAS systems.
• Operate CUAS detection and authorized mitigation equipment under government direction.
• Perform pre-deployment testing, calibration, and readiness verification.
• Install and configure CUAS hardware, software, firmware, networks and integrations.
• Troubleshoot CUAS hardware, software, firmware, networks and communications.
• Document CUAS operations, maintenance actions, and incident reports.
