Job summary

Northeast Treatment Centers is seeking a Case-Management Director for the Community Umbrella Agency (CUA) in the Philadelphia area. The director will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the CUA program, supervise program staff and supervisors, and help develop policies and procedures required for compliant operations.

The role requires a master’s degree in a human services field plus several years of management experience in child welfare and social services, with strong knowledge of safety,

Qualifications

  • Masters degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in the human services field plus years of experience supporting management level staff
  • Minimum of five years of experience in Child Welfare & Social Services
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge about child welfare practice including tenets of safety, permanency, and well-being
  • Budgetary experience is helpful
  • Experience in a mental health setting preferred
  • Must have valid drivers license.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the CUA program, supervising program supervisors and other staff as assigned
  • Support development of program policies and procedures as needed
  • Ensure case managers and supervisors complete all assigned paperwork, assessments, and Single Case Plans
  • Ensure cases are assigned in a timely manner
  • Ensure attendance at required trainings by staff
  • Report to CUA Director and DHS as requested

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Masters degree or above from an accredited college or university with a major in the human services field plus years of experience supporting management level staff

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Child Welfare & Social Services

  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience

  • Strong knowledge about child welfare practice including tenets of safety, permanency, and well-being.
