MTU Aero Engines North America, Inc. Rocky Hill, CT, seeks a CTS Engineer II to provide specialized engineering support for aerospace products and to act as a technical liaison among customers, maintenance organizations, suppliers and internal teams.

You will evaluate technical data, resolve complex issues, issue engineering dispositions, and ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements while supporting timely service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in relevant field.
• 4-10 years of related engineering experience.
• Sound understanding of concepts, methods and procedures within discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to drive tasks to completion.
• Eligible to work in the United States without Sponsorship.
• Occasional travel may be required.

The role is responsible for evaluating technical issues, supporting investigations, and issuing engineering dispositions to ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.The position works across multiple engineering disciplines to resolve complex technical matters, support the application of approved technical requirements, and enable the safe return of products to service. The role requires the evaluation of technical data, sound engineering judgment, and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.The engineer supports time-sensitive customer needs, including operational disruptions, while ensuring adherence to approved engineering standards and flight safety requirements.
