Job summary

SAN-Antonio-Behavioral-Healthcare-Hospital- is seeking a Certified Recreational Therapist for a full-time role. You will evaluate patients' leisure needs and design structured activity programs.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy and Registered Recreational Therapist certification, with at least 1 year of experience, preferably in behavioral health. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, maintain records, ensure safety, and deliver compassionate,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and RT credential required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Experience in Behavioral Health setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate clinical details in writing and orally.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate strengths and weaknesses of patients in terms of leisure and recreational pursuits.
• Plan activities for patients needing a structured recreational therapy program.
• Develop, conduct and evaluate a diversified program of activities for individual patients.
• Organizes records, maintains, and orders equipment and supplies.
