You will design and lead structured therapeutic recreation and activity-based interventions to promote engagement, socialization, coping skills, and emotional wellness.

The ideal candidate will be organized, adaptable, and passionate about helping patients make meaningful progress through creative programming.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field required.
• Current CTRS credential required.
• Experience in behavioral health or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with treatment team to develop and implement individualized interventions.
• Complete therapeutic recreation assessments and identify appropriate interventions.
• Plan and facilitate activities and groups aligned with clinical goals.
• Adapt activities to meet diverse patient needs.
• Document participation, responses and progress in medical records.
• Reassess plans and update treatment as needed.
• Support staff assisting with groups and activities.
• Promote continuity of care through collaboration with nursing and therapy teams.
