Job summary

Cloudflare is seeking a CTO Operations Lead to serve as a strategic force multiplier for the Chief Technology Officer. You will collaborate with the CTO Chief of Staff to align priorities, manage the CTO’s time, and drive cross-functional execution across engineering, product, and business teams to advance critical initiatives.

This role requires operational rigor, exceptional communication, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive-ready briefings and materials.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in technical program management, business operations, or a chief of staff-style role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience creating executive briefings and high-quality presentation materials.
• Experience analyzing operational data including budgets, headcount, and resource planning.
• High level of integrity and discretion handling confidential information.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence for the CTO department, ensuring training and regulatory obligations are met.
• Research and synthesize context for the CTO ahead of external engagements and customer calls, providing actionable insights.
• Attend high-priority calls to capture context and own action-item lifecycle across teams.
• Partner with the CTO to craft compelling presentations and written materials for internal and external events.
• Lead special projects within the Office of the CTO, defining scope, stakeholders, and success metrics.
