Job summary

Beacon is seeking a high-slope, high-agency professional to work directly with the CTO and embed with portcos during critical inflection points. You will drive launches and migrations, scale AI workflows across many lean teams, and own technical diligence from LOI through post-close remediation.

Ideal candidates have founder experience, a track record as a Chief of Staff at the Office of the CTO, and hands-on full-stack capabilities.

Qualifications

• Former founder (3–4 years out of school, YC or equivalent accelerator background preferred).
• Experience working as a Chief of Staff at the Office of the CTO.
• Proven hands-on ability to build and ship end-to-end products across unfamiliar stacks.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to explain complex systems to non-technical stakeholders.
• This is an elite technical execution role, not a project manager or EA position.

Responsibilities

• Embed with the CTO and portcos to drive critical launches and migrations.
• Scale AI workflows across 30+ engineering teams and assess product durability vs AI disruption.
• Lead tech diligence post-LOI and carry findings through to remediation after close.
• Bridge engineering, deal, ops, finance, and pod leaders to avoid technology bottlenecks.
• Represent Beacon in SF tech/ founder scene via blogs, architecture deep dives and talks.
