Job summary

PrimeStaff Management Services' client, a climate-technology leader in decarbonizing cement, seeks a hands-on CTO to architect and execute industrial scale-up from bench-scale to multi-tonne-per-day production. You will lead the engineering function from the ground up, driving wear-management, energy efficiency, and product quality at global partner plants.

The role offers significant equity and direct impact on scaling a first-of-a-kind technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Process or related engineering.
• Industrial experience in process engineering, scale-up, or operations.
• Proven experience in engineering leadership or management.
• Proven track record of scaling a novel materials processing technology from pilot to production.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets and projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and commissioning of the 'multi-tonne per day' demonstration system at partner cement plants globally.
• Apply deep expertise in high-volume powder processing, bulk solids handling, and advanced milling circuits to process design.
• Drive continuous improvement in process efficiency, energy consumption, and cost reduction.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks associated with scale-up.
