Qualifications

• 8+ лет коммерческой разработки на Java
• Экспертный уровень владения Java и современными технологиями
• Опыт руководства командами разработки и выстраивания эффективных процессов
• Полный цикл продаж и эскалационная поддержка, взаимодействие с отделом продаж
• Уровень английского Upper-Intermediate (B2) для коммуникаций с клиентами/участия в международных мероприятиях

Responsibilities

• Руководить командой разработки на Java и обеспечивать высокое качество решений
• Проводить технические интервью и оценки кандидатов, устраивать встречи команды
• Участвовать в пред-продажах: оценка, консультирование и общение с клиентами
• Представлять компанию на конференциях и формировать стратегическое направление Java-экспертизы
• Двигать технологический рост через современные инструменты, best practices и инновации

Modsen provides custom software development, team augmentation, UI/UX design, quality assurance, business analysis, legacy system modernization, IT consulting, and startup IT services. It also offers AI services, including AI consulting and AI-augmented delivery.

Задачи:

Build and develop the department’s deep technical expertise; Lead the Java development team and ensure high-quality solutions for successful project delivery; Conduct technical interviews and evaluations, hold team meetings, identify team training needs, and manage motivation and team performance; Participate in pre-sales activities, including estimation, consulting, and direct client communication; Represent the company at conferences and shape the strategic direction of Java expertise at Modsen; Drive technological growth through modern tools, best practices, and innovation.

Требования:

8+ Years of commercial Java development experience and a strong understanding of its ecosystem; Expert-level proficiency in Java and modern technologies; Experience leading development teams of various sizes and building efficient processes; Strong performance management and team development skills; Full-cycle pre-sales experience, from requirement discovery and estimation to expert consulting alongside the sales team; Upper-Intermediate (B2) English for client communication and participation in international events; Nice to have: experience with Java-based CMS/ERP platforms such as Alfresco, Liferay, and Netsuite; knowledge of Scala and its frameworks, including Play, Lift, and Chaos.
