Job summary

Beyond SOF in Central Texas seeks a strategic CTO to define and own the full technology stack—from transformer design software to factory automation and AI-driven optimization.

You will unify product engineering, manufacturing automation, and software, turning complex physics and processes into a scalable, software-defined production platform—FOUNDATION OS—for rapid design iteration, automated fabrication, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 12–20+ years in advanced manufacturing and automation.
• Proven experience building software-defined production systems and automated factories.
• Hands-on experience with industrial controls, robotics, or high-throughput lines.
• Prior senior technical leadership in regulated or infrastructure environments (CTO/VP Eng).

Responsibilities

• Lead automation, software, and engineering teams; set standards and roadmaps.
• Develop end-to-end architecture spanning design software, digital twins, automation, data, and analytics.
• Drive Design-for-Automation and Design-for-Test across all products.
• Oversee manufacturing data capture and ML-based optimization for yield and throughput.
• Interface with regulators, labs, and strategic partners; support investor diligence.
