Job summary

Pinetree Therapeutics, Inc. seeks a seasoned biotech leader to become Chief Technology Officer (CTO). You will own antibody engineering, platform development, and CMC, guiding discovery to IND-enabling activities.

Reporting to the CEO, you will lead Directors and Principal Scientists, set molecular design direction, and expand the AbReptor™ platform, building a first-in-class degrader ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in a related discipline as listed.
• 15+ years in biotech/pharma antibody discovery and development, with senior leadership experience.
• Hands-on expertise in multispecific antibodies and antibody-fusion constructs.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor large engineering teams and act as top technical authority.
• Strong knowledge of CMC, developability, and IND-enabling development.

Responsibilities

• Global strategic leadership of antibody engineering and the AbReptor platform.
• Drive platform expansion into new formats, modalities, and degraders.
• Oversee developability, manufacturability, and safety early in design.
• Direct lead optimization and candidate nomination through IND-enabling readiness.
• Manage budgets, vendor partnerships, and cross-functional collaboration.
