Corewell Health’s Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids seeks a registered nurse for the Progressive Care Unit Cardiothoracic Surgical 7 MHC Butterworth – Grand Rapids Hospital. The RN provides professional nursing care per ANA standards, partnering with patients and families to plan and deliver care.

Shifts are nights with a 36-hour weekly schedule and variable days. The role requires strong post-surgical assessment skills, BLS, ACLS, and state RN licensure.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing is required.
• Bachelors in Nursing is required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days.
• AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Provide professional nursing care under the ANA scope of practice and Nurse Leader direction.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge using patient-family centred care.
• Document education and learning in the health record and collaborate with the care team.
